Unnameable Press was launched in 1984 while Jame A. Riley was working on his BFA in Graphic Design at Kent State University in NE Ohio. Inspired by other specialty genre publishers, it was especially Arkham House and the small Fantome Press of Warren, Ohio that were major inspirations. UP combines quality production with quality design for books created to last generations.
