Переводчик — Стелла Цзяюэ Чжу (Stella Jiayue Zhu)

I am a tutor at St. John’s College.

I was born in Zhenjiang, China, and grew up in the neighboring city, Suzhou, surrounded by its coursing rivers. At the age of 17, I came to the United States to study mathematics at Northwestern, where, inadvertently, I discovered philosophy. In 2012, I transferred to St John’s College in Annapolis for its Great Books Program and, after graduating, continued studying philosophy before receiving my PhD from the University of Notre Dame in 2022. My research interests lie mainly in metaphysics. I wrote my dissertation on a theory of artifacts as entities constitutively dependent on collective intentionality.

I am the managing editor of Notre Dame Philosophical Reviews and a literary translator on occasion.
